Overview

VISIONNAIRE was built in 2010 and completed in 2011 by J-Craft and is 1 of 4 Torpedo 42 built in Mahogany wood. She is hull number 5 and has been maintained to perfection by her only owner. The varnish finish gives her a bright and classic look which is typical of the J-Craft yacht.

Her interior is carefully crafted giving an impressive amount of space and living comfort. You will appreciate the level of care and high-end choice of materials. The bathroom and shower area are spacious for a boat this size and the skylight above the cabinet gives an atmosphere of outdoor freedom. Thanks to her 8Kw generator Fisher Panda® the cabin is fitted with an air conditioning unit to enjoy some cool refreshment after a day outside in the summer.

The outdoor space is in top condition and packed with all the equipment that the experienced yachtsmen need when going for a day out at sea. An electrical bimini will give you shade and comfort in seconds, an hydraulic gangway will allow you to step on and off any dock with ease, the hydraulic table can drop or rise by the press of a button, the GPS plotter will be your best friend during navigation and her large fridge will keep all your drinks ready to be open once needed. It even comes with an induction hob for the enthusiastic chef out there. The wooden steering wheel made by the designer Nardi, is the only material outsourced from Sweden when building the Torpedo. He is the designer of the famous wheel from the Ferrari 250GTO.

When we are talking about a serious maintenance program, the owner always winterizes her out of the water in an enclosed shed covered with her custom-made canvas. The professional team taking care of VISIONNAIRE’s owner throughout the years covers all the service and maintenance.

The shipyard of J-Craft is producing only 1 boat per year even though they are trying to ramp that number to about 3. The cost of producing the same boat today is about 1.5M€+ dependent on options.
