The cradle of North American powerboat racing inevitably lies on the Great Lakes, where the great
showdown of the famous Gold Cup Races took place. A competition for top speeds between pithy
American Hacker Crafts, the elegant models of Gar Wood and the noble Ditchburn boats from Canada.
Wildcat is a unique witness to this time, equipped with a powerful and almost indestructible Rolls Royce
12 cylinder aircraft engine. For many years, Wildcat was on display at the Technique Museum
Speyer and most recently took part in the Monaco Classic Week 2023 to great acclaim.
